North Ramsey Street Church of God

Bishop Dexter D. Russell Sr has been ministering the Word of God since the age of 17. Having held many ministerial positions, the Lord saw fit to appoint him as Senior Pastor of the North Ramsey Street Church of God in 2014. This multicultural ministry now spans across the globe through the church’s radio ministry called “Limitless”. 

With his passion for Christ, wife, Raquel, and his six children, come experience challenging, no nonsense, biblically based preaching that–through the grace of Jesus Christ–will transform your life. 

As Luke 24:32 states: “And they said one to another, did not our heart burn within us,
while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?”, may the preached word–through the Holy Spirit–warm, rejuvenate, convict, and inspire you to be the best you can be in Christ.

I am so thankful for the opportunity to provide spiritual and practical assistance for families, especially mothers and caregivers.

We provide this assistance through: Adult and Children’s Sunday School, Women’s ministries, Budgeting Classes, and Homeschool Assistance.

Welcome to the Youth and Young Adult’s Ministries!

I have the privilege and honor of leading our Youth and Young Adult’s Ministries. Here we focus on three main things; our relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus, connecting with and loving one another, and becoming the disciples of Christ for the work of God.

Once you are with us, you will hear the truth and feel the love of God. We look forward to meeting you. God bless.

We welcome people from all walks of life to come and experience the ministry offered by North Ramsey Street Church of God known as the “House of Bread”.  I supervise the thrift shop where we have men’s, women’s, and children’s apparel, toys and other amenities that help with everyday life.  We sell things at a very reasonable price, but we also provide for those who are in extreme need. 

Our ministry also provides a food pantry, along with utility/rental and educational assistance to those who qualify. 

It truly is a joy for me to be a part of the work of the Lord and to see God work wonders in the lives of others.  We look forward to seeing you.

At the House of Bread, we welcome and assist in meeting the needs of the communities in Cumberland and surrounding counties while serving and building the Kingdom of God. We provide free groceries, past due rental, utility, and educational assistance. As the Co-Coordinator since 2017, it is a joy to serve and to show the true love of Christ to people. I thank and believe God for ALL things!

Welcome to our Evangelism Team!

I am the Evangelism Coordinator at North Ramsey Street Church of God.  Our mission is to lead as many lost souls to Christ as possible through street witnessing and various outreach – community driven programs.  We refuse to stay behind the four walls of the Church, but rather be proactive as Jesus commanded in Mark 16:15 “Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”

We are looking forward to those who want to work with us in the harvest of the Lord.
